Terry Scott is senior vice president and chief compliance officer at Wedbush Securities Inc.

Scott has had a 25-year management career in the futures industry with Citicorp, ABN Amro and UBS. His job moved from Citi to ABN to UBS as part of two separate acquisitions.

Background[edit]

Before joining Wedbush Scott was at Uhlmann Price Securities from 2008 - 2016, serving as a SVP, CCO, and CAO. At UBS Securities LLC, he served as a director from 2006 to 2008. At ABN AMRO Futures, he served as a senior vice president and director of marketing from 2004 to 2006, the manager of a 24-hour sales and execution desk from 2001 to 2004 and he was in general sales and research from 1997 to 2001. At Citicorp Futures Corp. he began as a desk manager at the fixed income sales desk in New York City beginning in 1991.

Scott served as a manager at Barnes & Co. from 1986 to 1991. He managed a staff of five on the floor of the CME from 1984 to 1986 for Lind Waldock. Scott traded Treasury bond futures and options for his own account in 1983. He was part of the two-member private CBOT clearing firm, Monckton & Belsanti Trading, from 1981 to 1984.

Scott was educated at Augustana College and the University of Arizona. He has a B.A. in Broadcasting/Business and graduated with distinction.
