Thomas Holleran
Thomas Holleran is a New York-based derivatives executive who is a managing director with TP ICAP. Previously, he was a vice president of products and services for the CME Group at NYMEX. Before that, he was vice president of marketing prior to NYMEX being acquired by the CME Group. He was named to the NYMEX position on January 28, 2008 and joined NYMEX in 2006.[1] Background[edit]His NYMEX responsibilities included marketing energy products, as well as a new product slates including the Green Exchange, index futures products and catastrophe risk futures.[2] Holleran has worked in the futures industry for 22 years. Previously, he was a limited partner in GA Futures, an electricity brokerage firm that executed brokerage in PJM electricity and served as vice president of Emissions at Prebon Energy. At O2Blue, an environmental brokerage firm, Holleran was the senior emissions broker.
