Thomas P. Gallagher is the chairman and chief executive officer of MIAX Options and MIAX Pearl and their parent company Miami International Holdings, Inc. (MIH).[1] He is also the chairman of MGEX.
He is a founder of MIH and led the company since its founding. Gallagher is also a current member of the board of directors of the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

He is a founding partner of the law firm Gallagher, Briody & Butler, a corporate and securities law firm located in Princeton, New Jersey. Over the past 25 years, Gallagher has counseled numerous private and public companies on corporate and securities matters including debt and equity financings and transactional matters in a wide range of industries. [2]
From 2005 to 2014, Gallagher served on the board of trustees of The Hun School of Princeton and is currently a Trustee Emeritus.[3]

Gallagher holds a bachelor of arts degree from Rutgers University (1980) and a juris doctor degree from Capital University Law School (1983).
