William Rhind is the chief executive officer of World Gold Trust Services, a subsidiary of the World Gold Council. He was appointed to that position in September 2014. [1]
Background[edit]
Before joining the World Gold Council in 2013, he was a senior executive at ETF Securities, an independent exchange-traded product provider, from 2007 to 2013. He was also formerly a principal at iShares. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Nomura International in London.

Rhind is a graduate of the University of Bath, in England, with a Bachelor of Arts in French, Russian, Politics and Economics.
