Xignite is a San Francisco-based provider of cloud-based market data. They offer financial web services APIs that provide real-time, historical, and reference data. Xignite provides services that power mobile financial applications, websites, and front-, middle- and back-office functions; plus services for exchanges, data vendors and financial institutions.[1]
Xignite directly accesses data in the exchanges and filters it as needed for a variety of clients, who can then access it from the web or from a mobile device.[2]
