Ibrahim M. Turhan is Istanbul-based exchange executive, central banker and university professor. He currently serves as chairman and CEO of Borsa Istanbul, formed from the merger of the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Istanbul Gold Exchange, and the Turkish Derivatives Exchange (TurkDex).
Background[edit]
Prior to joining Borsa Istanbul, Turhan was deputy governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. He as in charge of monetary policy international relations, communication, investor relations, accounting, information technology, human resources, procurement, logistics, fixed investments and real estate management.
