Maria Chiodi is a New York-based lawyer who serves as a managing director and general counsel of Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC. She co-heads the global markets legal initiatives and regulatory reform group at Credit Suisse.
She serves on the board of the National Futures Association as a representative of large futures commission merchants. She is also a member of the CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee.
Also, she serves on the board of directors of the OCC as a member director. She serves on the OCC governance and nominating committee.
Prior to her current role, she was head of the cleared derivatives team at Credit Suisse.
She is an active member of the Futures Industry Association Law & Compliance Division.
Additionally, she is a member of the futures & derivatives regulation committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Before coming to Credit Suisse, she was with Societe Generale and Nomura Securities International, Inc.
Chiodi has a BS from New York University. She holds both an MBA and a JD from Fordham University.
