Scott Rose is chief executive officer (CEO) of Infinium Capital Management, a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm. Rose was named to the post on March 22, 2012.[1]

Background[edit]

Rose began his trading career in 1985 with Chicago Research and Trading (CRT), a derivatives market-making firm. He stayed with CRT through its acquisition by NationsBank and, subsequently, Bank of America.

In 2001 he left BofA to become a manager in the trading room at Citadel, where he stayed until 2005.

He also served as an investment manager with Fox River Partners, a firm he co-founded, until 2010, when Fox River became a subsidiary of Infinium.[2] Prior to being named CEO, Rose managed the Infinium's proprietary, market-making and algorithmic trading activities.[3]

He succeeded as CEO Infinium co-founder Charles Whitman, who assumed the newly-created role of chairman.
