Timothy G. McDermott is CEO of NADEX. He assumed the position in May of 2014.
Previously, he was the general counsel and chief regulatory officer for The North American Derivatives Exchange ("NADEX"). [1]
Background[edit]
Before joining NADEX, McDermott was director and compliance counsel at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he was responsible for enforcement of exchange trade practices and conduct rules. McDermott came to CME from Gardner, Carton & Douglas, [2] where he focused on financial markets litigation.
Education[edit]
McDermott majored in accounting at the University of Notre Dame and earned his JD from Loyola University School of Law.
