Background

Prior to joining NADEX, McDermott was director and compliance counsel at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he was responsibe for enforcement of exchange-trade practices and conduct rules. McDermott came to CME from Gardner, Carton & Douglas, where he focused on financial markets litigation.

Education

McDermott majored in accounting at the University of Notre Dame and earned his JD from Loyola University School of Law.
